Hi everyone!
I would like to share a few things I've read in the education blogs-
1) http://www.edutechintegration.com/
I read the most recent post called
Technology Used Increasingly In Classrooms
one of the interesting things I learned is the option to give tests by internet assessments. This is especially useful for multiple choice questions- this way the students get a grade right away- (and we have less to check!!)
I'd like to learn how to do this although it can't be used in my classrooms yet since the students (or teachers) don't have private laptops.

I learned something really interesting here!!! When you are in any web page and are looking for a specific word- instead of spending lots of time looking for this word (or expression) you can press CTRL F, a box will pop up and you write in what you are looking for. Then those words will be highlighted and on the scroller on the side it will show you where the woords appear on the web page. Try it out!

Here I read about
5 Top Tech Tools (And How To Use Them In Education)
The one that caught my eye was Edmodo, It’s like your very own Facebook for your classroom. Complete with the tools that let you communicate with your students, parents, and others. Share homework, pictures, and start learning together.- Again, I can't use this in my calss but it was interesting to read about.
yes, we will learn about self-checking multiple choice questions
השבמחקEdmodo sounds great, I should check it out. I wonder how different it is than just opening a Facebook page for your class. The ministry of Education says that you shouldn't 'friend' your students with your personal profile, I think it's a smart move. Opening a page is real easy, I even have one for my own translation business, and maybe the students would be more enthusiastic about joining it if it's on Facebook.
השבמחקthank you for your comment!
השבמחקi loved wordle!

השבמחקLeora!!! I'm SO happy to see you hear!
I liked your all your comments! Especially the first comment about give tests by internet assessments. This is a great option, which could help teacher and students. In my opinion there no reason to wait with this tool, till all the students has private laptops. At the college we used with this kind of tests for Book- Report. I'm sure there are more options to use with this tool in classroom; we just need to think out of the box. Give our ideas to fly…
Good luck
